Scala Playhouse has reported that its Autumn Fair, staged during the first week of September at its Almere HQ, was a great success. The firm said that customers and trading partners alike were enthusiastic about the changes made in the Scala Showroom, where there were new colourful presentations, and two ‘mini-stores’ that had been created to inspire visitors looking for fresh, new ways to showcase the latest lines and products.
Highlights of the Autumn Fair included the introduction of the eagerly awaited We-Vibe 4 and the new sophisticated fetish line, Scandal, from California Exotic Novelties. In addition, Scala presented the NS Novelties brand, which has recently been added to the firm’s range, as well as the Stimul8 drugstore items which were relaunched with a new look.
On the Tuesday night Scala invited all visitors, suppliers and friends to celebrate the changing seasons together. The party was held in the complimentary bar and restaurant which was transformed for the evening with live music and performances from several famous Dutch artists.
Speaking about the new developments, Scala director Berry Koldewijn said: “The evolving erotic industry asks for customised service adjusted to the purchase time and place – a wider assortment, which fits the diversity of the target audience nowadays.”
The next Scala event will be its Spring Fair, traditionally held during the first week of March.
