Paper view: Creative Conceptions launches customer magazine

Creative Conceptions has launched a new seasonal customer magazine, which will be sent out with all trade orders. The company says the publication’s purpose is to give customers a quarterly overview of seasonal trends and hot-buys, helping them to ensure their inventory is fresh, en-vogue and meeting the current demands of the consumer. It also hopes that promoting seasonal stock will encourage repeat custom and create up-sell opportunities for retailers.
The Summer edition contains features on Pride, summer loving, weddings, anniversaries, hen parties, staycations and a selection of shopper profiles. Creative believes that segregating its product suggestions into categories will help retailers to start a conversation and steer their customers towards products that will suit their needs. It will also showcase current special offers and promotions.
Highlighted in the issue are products from Creative Conceptions, Skins Condoms, Powerect, ID Lubricants, CalExotics, Sportsheets, Lovehoney, Screaming O, Jopen, Manbound, Shunga, Intimate Earth, and Satisfyer.
Creative Conceptions founder Jane Bowles said: “We wanted to provide a piece of marketing communication our customers would enjoy reading whilst benefiting them at the same time. Despite the abundance of digital communication, we believe many people still enjoy a good old flick through a magazine. And it’s good to mix things up a bit. A magazine allows you to step away from your computer and take a little time out to properly absorb what you are reading. It also creates social reading that can be shared with colleagues and is something you can read at your leisure, perhaps when you get home after the pressure is off.”
