Lelo unveils in-store retail display competition with big prizes

Lelo is running an in-store competition for retailers which will see the winner awarded £3,000 worth of Lelo stock plus a Lelo product of their choice* for every member of staff who works there. The competition is open to bricks and mortar retailers based in the UK and Ireland, whether they buy direct from Lelo or through its distributors. To enter, stores simply have to upload a picture of their in-store Lelo display and take part in a short survey (five questions) about in-store POS.
Kerri Middleton, Lelo’s UK account manager, said: “The stores do such a great job of merchandising and some staff come up with the most amazing displays so I wanted to focus on those that are really thinking outside of the box.”
The winner will be decided by Lelo CEO Miroslav Slavic, who will be judging entries on their creativity. Lelo already offers its customers POS materials for in-store use – it invested ‘just shy of £50,000’ in this during 2013 – and over 100 UK retailers currently feature Lelo displays or stands.
In 2013 Lelo introduced its Global Rewards Programme for bricks and mortar retailers which rewarded sales staff with prizes, based on how many Lelo products they sold: “Our Global Rewards Programme was a real eye-opener for me,” added Kerri. “The UK had the most entrants and that really proved a point. Staff work really hard to get those sales and support the brand, and that’s a large part of why we’re running this contest.”
The competition will run until Monday 16th June. It is open to every retailer in the UK and Ireland that stocks Lelo products. The winner will be announced on Friday 20th June in ETO’s weekly email newsletter and the prize will be presented on ETO’s stand at June’s ETO Show.
