Satisfyer and Partner are among the winners of this year’s iF Design Awards for the pressure wave stimulator Satisfyer Pro Penguin and the two Partner vibrators, Partner and Partner Plus., which won in the product and the leisure category. Recognised as a symbol of design excellence around the world, the iF Design Awards receives over 5,000 submissions from 70 countries every year. They are presented by Germany’s oldest independent design organisation and awarded by a 58-member independent international jury.
The iF Design Awards were established in 1953 with the following six guiding principles: to identify, support and promote good design; to raise awareness of design among the public and the role it plays in our lives; to help companies integrate design into their long-term strategies; to safeguard the role of professional designer and boost awareness for this job profile; to effect social change through design; and to support talented young people and create a public platform for young designers. The iF Design Awards website states: “The iF logo has become an internationally acknowledged symbol of outstanding design, and serves as a beacon for design-interested audiences in the global economies.”
The German brands Satisfyer and Partner were only formed in 2016, so are delighted and honoured to be the recipients of such internationally established awards after such a short period of time. . Thorsten Helm, design manager of both brands, said: “We are delighted that due to our focus on the wishes and needs of our customers and the consistent implementation of our design strategy, our products not only convince women and couples with their technology and application but also that this has been confirmed by an international jury of experts.”
