EroFame 2022: first impressions from the show floor

It’s been three years of anticipation and two postponements since the last EroFame and understandably there were elements of the industry that had reservations about its return. Would it draw the crowds? Would it inspire exhibitors to pull out their dusty chequebooks and sign on the dotted line to return? Would the magic still be there?

Happily for EroFame, our on-site reporter Paul Smith thought so. He commented: “What’s been lovely to see is old friendships re-established and refreshed. ‘Its just lovely to be back’ was heard time and time again, be that from Jessica Drake of Wicked Sensual Care – on her first international trip since Covid was a thing – to the guys from Fetch in London, back on a fact-finding mission to Hanover.”

Paul joined other visitors on the show’s first two days in Hall 4 at the Hanover showground (Wednesday the 5th & Thursday the 6th of October) but sadly had to leave before the fabled Thursday night Oktoberfest party which typically leaves the show’s third day somewhat blurry.

He added: “I was at EroFame to tweet my impressions of the event from the show, plus discuss advertising opportunities for the ETO website and weekly email newsletter. While the magazine is no longer printed, ETO’s is still very much active online. As for the show, I’ve seen adorable new lines from Creative Conceptions – do check out their Unihorn (no typo) range – and cool Exo Rogue duo-pole prostate electro-stimulator from ElectraStim. I was impressed the show’s vibe in general and by the Snail Vibe in particular, while still being less than sold on the name.”
