Body Spa range to debut at ILS
Posted: September 4, 2012
Bodi Spa Inc has developed a variety of new products which will be officially introduced to distributors at the International Lingerie Show in Las Vegas, which runs from September 9th– 12th.
Alain Elmaleh, General Manager of Bodi Spa Inc, has been actively working to develop this new line of personal massagers, vibrators and wellness products for over a year and he commented: “After extensive market research, we are noticing a favourable change in the way women perceive adult toys lately. As a result more and more women wish they could buy these items in ‘cleaner’ retail outlets such as classy love shops geared towards couples or mainstream wellness stores and drugstores, rather than adult bookstores or sex shops, which are for the most part geared towards men.”
The Bodi Spa line was therefore conceived to have a mainstream look, similar to a line of therapeutic massage products rather than sex toys, with packaging specifically designed to reflect the change of attitude by women towards adult toys and novelties.
“This is the reason why you won’t see any naked women or men featured on any of our packaging,” said Elmaleh.
The 20-strong Bodi Spa line ranges from the large ‘hot n cold’ massagers and vibrators such as the Almighty, the Wonderwand, the Wonderwand + (rechargeable), to the medium range vibrators such as the Must and the Ultimate (rechargeable), to the smaller, more discreet vibrators such as the G, the Mini Deluxe, the Wavy, and The Egg. The line also includes four different models of high performance vibrating cock rings. A further 20 items are set to be released by early 2012 and, later this year, Bodi Spa will launch three different versions of a light fetish and bondage toy kit called 50 Ways to Play Kinky.
Elmaleh explained: “The reason why we decided to put these kits on the market this year is because we noticed a sharp increase in the demand of light bondage toys and accessories in our retail stores as well as at the wholesale level lately, and its partly caused by the huge mainstream success of Fifty Shades of Grey, which has generated an increased interest and curiosity in such light bondage items as the ball gag, the Ben Wa balls, blindfolds, handcuffs etc among women who didn’t necessarily have an urge to try these types of toys before. In fact, the Fifty Shades of Grey phenomenon has brought the whole toy industry in general a bit closer to the mainstream market.”
A variety of promotional items such as dispensers, racks, posters, brochures, and more will be made available to retailers in order to promote the line efficiently. For more details visit www.bodi-spa.com. Worldwide distribution enquiries should be made to Alain Elmaleh via email@example.com
