William Garland departs from Doxy

William Garland, co-founder of CMG Leisure (manufacturer of the Doxy range of wand massagers), has resigned as a director of the company and relinquished his shares in the business. The Doxy brand was one of the hits of 2013’s ETO Show, when the company – along with William and the first Doxy massager – was first introduced to the rest of the industry.

William has today issued a statement which reads: “Last year I finished treatment for head and neck cancer and took a long break from work. I am forever grateful to all at Doxy for the gift of stress-free space and time to go through treatment and recuperation. During my time away, the business has grown and evolved and that, coupled with my newly acquired clichéd attitudes that go along with a reminder of life’s briefness, leads me to know that this is the right time to move on.”

He added: “I wish to thank my co-founder Andrew Crichton [pictured with Will] and the Crichton family as well as Leigh Dedhar and all working in the Doxy factory and office. Long live Doxy and all those who keep one within easy reach.”
