LA-based PIMPROLL launched a new website building tool called HostedTube on January the 3rd.
In a press release the company said its team has “watched the online adult industry drastically change over the past year” and has created a way for webmasters to profit from this industry shift.
Dave K of PIMPROLL explained, “If you’ve got unused domains collecting dust, create a HostedTube and watch them make money. Building a site has never been easier than HostedTube. It is the WordPress of tube sites.”
The aim of HostedTube is to allow webmasters to create a Tube site by cheaply registering a domain and simply using PIMPROLL’s selection of content with no expensive hosting costs. PIMPROLL’s ads are automatically placed onto the site targeted to the niche specified. PIMPROLL say it gives a generous percentage of every sale, and every dollar of advertising revenue.
By logging on to HostedTube.com and clicking ‘Build Your Tube’, PIMPROLL claim webmasters can quickly and easily customise their layout, upload a logo and background image, set the site’s colour scheme, schedule updates and write their own content descriptions. Owners of multiple domains can use a feature called Bulk Builder to create a hundred sites in under five minutes, the company said.
Additionally the company noted SEO is increasingly important when it comes to Tubes and webmasters can change video titles, URL slugs, descriptions, hard links, page titles, keywords and more with the site’s SEO customisation tools. Other features include the option to create a complete tube site for full-length videos or restrict visitors to watching 1-3 minute clips. Webmasters can also, “create a fake tube site that can be used as a gateway to premium content.”
Webmasters are also able to select either a desktop or a mobile-optimised site. When desktop is selected, a mobile option is also automatically created, which can be further customised. The mobile-only site option is also available and site stats can be tracked using quick statistics or by entering in a Google Analytics code for a more in-depth analysis.
Webmasters who wish to create a site need a PIMPROLL account while webmasters with an existing PIMP ID can use their ID and password to sign-in to HostedTube and get started immediately. There is also a PIMPROLL affiliate programme.
