Industry veteran Monique Carty has joined luxury adult toy company Nexus as company director. The appointment might appear a little unorthodox to some, due to the Nexus brand predominantly targeting males, but Carty says she is relishing the challenge and hints at exciting developments in the near future.
“The Nexus brand is known for its quality and innovation and that certainly won’t change,” Monique said. “However I will be looking at everything from brand strategy to market penetration and the female market is something we are obviously not catering enough for. There is so much potential for a brand like Nexus and I’m really looking forward to putting my stamp on it.”
Monique has been in the business for nearly nine years, starting her career as a PR Manager and working her way up to Managing Director, subsequently gaining a wealth of experience across all areas of the adult industry.
Chloe Pearce, Nexus sales and operations manager, declared herself thrilled with the new recruit, adding: “Having somebody of Monique’s experience has been beneficial already. I’m really excited for what lies ahead and taking Nexus to the next level.”
