Sportsheets has record-breaking day thanks to Kourtney Kardashian

Sportsheets had Kourtney Kardashian to thank for a record-breaking day on August 28th, when traffic to its website increased by a factor of ten, with consumers all buying the same item. After the office closed, orders for its Sincerely, Sportsheets Peace Vibe kept rolling in, and after checking the analytics, marketing director John Turi discovered the traffic was coming from Kourtney Kardashian’s lifestyle website Poosh.
Poosh featured the vibe as its #pooshpickoftheweek, and editor Michelle Scanga said: “In a nutshell, the first time we used it, it felt so good I legit fell over on top of him!”
She added: “This playful (and pleasurable) vibrator definitely gets a five out of five in my book.”
Poosh posted the article to both its website and Instagram account, which has over three million followers, and within a few minutes the Instagram post had over 7,000 likes. And when the initial activity had calmed down, it was kicked back off again when Kourtney Kardashian SnapChatted about the Peace Vibe and even more traffic and orders came in.
“We know the Peace Vibe is a great vibrator but having someone put in print how much fun they had with it, just legitimised our belief,” said Julie Stewart, president of Sportsheets.
