ETO suspends publication of print magazine for one month

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, ETO will not be publishing a May issue. ETO editor Dale Bradford commented: “Everyone likes to think their job is important, but the current situation is teaching us who really is ‘essential’ and who is just ‘nice to have’. As a trade magazine, we fall into the latter category and printing and postal workers’ time can be far more usefully employed in other areas during this unprecedented situation.”

He added: “Although much of the industry is still functioning, as our survey of distributors has revealed, it’s at a reduced level, particularly with most bricks and mortar retailers being closed, so rather than publish what would be an inferior product we have chosen not to publish at all next month. We will be reviewing this situation on a regular basis and our print publication will be back as soon as conditions allow. In the meantime, the ETO website will be regularly updated and we will still be active on our usual social media channels.”

Company announcements should therefore still be sent to [email protected] and he can also be contacted via email for any other enquiry.
