ETO Show dates confirmed – plus the Awards Dinner is back!

Posted: August 1, 2019

The 2020 ETO Show will take place on Sunday March 15th and Monday March 16th at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry. This is the same venue as this year’s successful event and it is located just 12 miles from the NEC, which was home to the show from 2005 to 2016. Like the NEC, the Ricoh Arena is very easy to get to, being located in the centre of the country just off the motorway network: for those not travelling by road, there are three train stations within eight miles and Birmingham International Airport is just 20 minutes away.

“The Ricoh Arena is a fabulous location,” said show organiser Jonathan Kirk. “I was delighted with how smoothly the show this year. The staff at the venue could not have been more helpful and all the exhibitors I spoke to were happy with the show’s new home.”

As the 2019 event completely sold out of exhibition space, requiring the organiser to create a reserve list in case anyone dropped out, more floor space has been made available for 2020. “It’s heartbreaking for any show organiser to have to turn people away,” said Kirk. “So we’ve arranged for additional space to be available and I’m confident that we’ll be able to accommodate everyone who wants to participate in what is still the UK’s only dedicated pleasure products B2B exhibition.”

In response to many requests from the trade, the 2020 event will see the return of the ETO Awards Dinner, allowing the whole industry to once again eat, drink, and socialise together while simultaneously recognising excellence in the pleasure products supply chain. The awards will be presented on the evening of Sunday March 15th and more details will be available soon.

The Ricoh Arena is home to Premiership Rugby Club Wasps and on the 2020 ETO Show dates the team are not playing at home, so those who want to make a night of it should find that rooms in the on-site DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel are freely available. There is also an on-site Grosvenor Casino, for those who just don’t want the party to stop.

More details of the 2020 ETO Show will be available in future issues of ETO. If you are interested in exhibiting at the event please contact Jonathan Kirk via
