Is industry giant Lovehoney moving into the fried chicken sector? Readers of Franchise Times might have been forgiven for thinking that, after glancing at the headline in a report about a new franchise called Love & Honey.
Although the company which began as an online retailer in Bath has successful expanded into many areas over the last two decades, the fast-food sector is not going to be the next one: Love & Honey is a Philadelphia-based restaurant that has just appointed its first franchise. Specialising in southern-inspired fried chicken, the firm opened its doors for the first time in 2015 and the husband-and-wife team behind it have brought a fine-dining approach to the sector, with everything – even the sauces – being made from scratch.
If this appeals to you as much as it does to us, the new franchise will be based in University City, Pennsylvania. If you fancy running your own branch of Love & Honey, the initial investment required ranges from $518,900 to $748,700. Read more here
