Good Housekeeping magazine has revealed the results of its biggest ever sex toys group test, in which 95 products were assessed by a panel of testers for their design, ease of use, and performance. Staff also took into account each vibe’s instructions when arriving at a final score.

Products were categorised into four groups – Vaginal, Clitoral, Combination, and Couples – and ranged in price from £7.99 to £180. Topping each respective category were Lovehoney’s Fifty Shades Freed Deep Inside, Ann Summers Moregasm+ Rabbit Ears, We-Vibe’s Nova, and Svakom’s Elva.

The results of the group test were:

Top Ten Vaginal Vibrators: Lovehoney’s Fifty Shades Freed Deep Inside Classic Wave Vibrator (Score: 85/100), followed by Svakom Anya (83), So Divine’s Wicked Game (77), Perlesque Eirene (77), Svakom’s Cici (77), Ann Summers Moregasm+ Petite G-Spot (77), We-Vibe Rave (74), Fun Factory Tiger (69), Fun Factory Stronic Surf (68), and Perlesque Ara (67).

Top Ten Clitoral Vibrators: Ann Summers Moregasm+ Rabbit Ears (Score: 86/100), followed by Moregasm+ Bullet (85), Womanizer Premium (84), We-Vibe Tango (83), We-Vibe Touch (83), Je Joue Rabbit (80), Je Joue Classic Bullet (79), Lovehoney Deluxe Mini Massage Wand (78), Bathmate Vibe Chrome (78), and Rocks-Off Truly Yours Crimson Kiss (78).

Top Combination (rabbit-style) Vibrators: We-Vibe Nova Rechargeable (Score: 84/100), followed by Ann Summers Moregasm+ Boost Rampant Rabbit (82), Infinitt Rabbit (79), Mantric Rechargeable Rabbit (76), Fun Factory Lady Bi (74), Lovehoney Happy Rabbit G-Spot Rechargeable (74), Fun Factory Miss Bi (74), So Divine Ooh La La Pink Flower (73), So Divine Lovesexy Silky Touch (67), and Rocks-Off EveryGirl (66).

Top Five Couples’ Vibrators: Svakom Elva Remote Control Love Egg (Score: 86/100), followed by Dua App Controlled G-Spot and Clitoral Vibrator (77), So Divine Addicted Love Egg (76), Lovehoney Desire Luxury Knicker Vibrator (75), and Lovense Lush 2 Love Egg (66).

It was revealed that 74% of the panel said they’d happily discuss vibrators and masturbation with their friends, and the publication said in its report: “Here at Good Housekeeping, we champion discussions like these. Masturbation is good for you! It lowers blood pressure, reduces insomnia through hormonal release, increases pelvic floor strength (which in turn helps guard against leakage and incontinence) and can help prevent post-menopausal vaginal atrophy – and those are just some of the benefits! Plus, it allows you to get to know what works best for you. So, whether on your own, or with a partner, you can ensure the big O every time.”
