Sunday June 22nd and Monday June 23rd will see retail’s major suppliers congregate at the NEC, just outside Birmingham, for the 2014 ETO Show. In its 10th anniversary year it is shaping up to be the most impressive event the UK adult retail marketplace has seen so far, featuring more exhibitors, more floor space and more new names making their UK debuts than ever before.

“The product mix at the ETO Show has changed over the years to reflect changes in the market,” said show organiser Jonathan Kirk. “Our first show featured a large number of DVD companies and I think we only had one lingerie supplier. Now we only have one DVD distributor whereas we have multiple suppliers of lingerie, pleasure products and sexual health products.”
He continued: “The show is a snapshot of the industry it serves and the genuine enthusiasm surrounding the 2014 event reflects the current confidence in the market. Around 30 companies are exhibiting in the UK for the first time, which will be fantastic for retail buyers who are looking for new suppliers, products and ideas. This year the catwalk has been moved to the centre of the exhibition hall and it will feature more lingerie suppliers and models than ever before. It’s great to see the ranges that you want to stock actually being modelled as it can give retailers a much better idea of how to select and then sell the products.”
