After its success at EroFame, Lovehoney presented its kawaii-inspired collection of pleasure products, Tokidoki X, at US distributor East Coast News’ Fall Show at Stowe Mountain Lodge in Vermont. East Coast News (ECN) stages the event every year – this was the 32nd – and Lovehoney international sales manager Kate Hodgson-Egan and sales manager Sabrina Earnshaw reported that customers were particularly taken with the collection’s Unicorn Wand.
Hodgson-Egan said: “The distinctive Unicorn Wand Vibrator has caused the biggest buzz with customers commenting on how much the colourful range will jump out on shelves. It has been fantastic to see so many Tokidoki fans here too, it’s such a popular brand in the US.”
She added: “ECN is one of the biggest adult distributors in the US so it is incredibly important for us to be here and the show hasn’t disappointed. Our trade relationships here are going from strength to strength and we’re extremely thankful for the continued support. We were delighted to attend this year’s fantastic show and be in such esteemed company.”
Tokidoki is a pop-culture brand – its name means ‘sometimes’ in Japanese – and it was created by Italian artist Simone Legno and his partners, serial entrepreneurs Pooneh Mohajer and Ivan Arnold. Since launching in 2005, Tokidoki has amassed a cult-like following for its larger than life characters. Existing branded lifestyle products include apparel, handbags, cosmetics, accessories, and toys. The pleasure products range features never-before-seen designs created exclusively for the Tokidoki X Lovehoney collaboration by Tokidoki’s creative director, Simone Legno.
“We are thrilled to be working with industry leader Lovehoney and to collaborate on such an innovative range that promotes the importance of sexual health and overall wellbeing,” said Tokidoki co-founder and CEO Pooneh Mohajer.
The Tokidoki x Lovehoney range features bullet, classic, clitoral and finger vibrators, as well as love rings, male strokers and the Unicorn Wand Vibrator. Lovehoney describes this new collection as the most fashion-forward and colourful it has launched, and it expects it to prove particularly popular amongst the 18-30 age group.
