Tiani 24k: it’s gold, it’s half price, and it includes free ‘insurance’
Posted: December 8, 2015
Lelo’s new Tiani 24k has not only been launched at a special 50% off introductory retail price (£139), it also comes with a free unexpected ‘extra’ – couples’ break-up insurance. The device, which is designed for wearing during intercourse, features a ring of 24 karat gold – and as the ring is such an iconic symbol of commitment, if the couple break up within 12 months of purchasing the Tiana 24k, Lelo is pledging to replace the couples’ vibe with a different product, such as a solo massager.
The company says it is offering this unique benefit because of the significant positive impact its products have on relationships, though Steve Thomson, Lelo director of marketing, is not expecting many ‘claims’: “Lelo is not simply about bringing people together, we’re about keeping them together, and we’re prepared to prove it,” he said. “We have the pleasure of hearing regularly from satisfied customers of all ages and backgrounds heralding the impact that our products have had on their relationships. Lelo is a brand that’s committed to enhancing the connection between partners and we have no hesitation in putting our money where our mouth is. We are confident our latest innovation, the Tiani 24k, can have a truly positive impact on the relationship of the owners.”
According to a recent survey of 5,000 Lelo customers, 83% of couples who have used a sex toy say it had a positive effect on their relationship; 71% of couples reported an improvement in their sex lives after using a couples’ massager; and 57% claim sex is three times better as a result of experimenting with a couples’ massager.
The Tiania 24k features two vibrating motors: one for internal stimulation and the other for external pleasure. It also features Lelo’s patented SenseMotion remote control, allowing the users to change the intensity of the vibrations with a flick of the wrist.
The Lelo Tiania 24k will be available at the special retail price of £139 until the end of 2015, when it will increase to £279. The couples’ break-up insurance begins the day the product is purchased. Claimants will need to provide proof of purchase but will not need to provide proof of their relationship break-up. “All relationships are built on trust, and so is the one between Lelo and its customers,” said the company. Claimants will be offered a selection of Lelo bestsellers to choose from as a free replacement item.
