With real life being more than a little gloomy, it’s no surprise that escaping to a fantasy world holds such appeal for many of us. The BBC recently reported that sales of tabletop role-playing game Warhammer have surged, despite Games Workshop (which makes it) having to close its stores during lockdown. And the 4k boxset of Game of Thrones, which was released in December, quickly sold out on Amazon despite its £199 price (though there is a steelbook version still available at £249).
Which suggests that there might be a waiting market for the latest additions to Blush Novelties’ fantasy-inspired range of toys called The Realm, which are available in Europe through Tonga.
The collection was launched last year with the Drago lock-on sword and the matching range of lock-on dildos, which included a blue one with dragon skin called Draken. Joining the party now are the werewolf-inspired lock-on handle Rougarou, the black and red lock-on dildo Lycan which has the same werewolf theme, and a waterproof silver bullet vibrator that can be inserted into the Lycan dildo or used as is. This rechargeable vibrator is appropriately called Silver Bullet and offers 10 vibration functions.
Three more products will be unveiled in February, all of which are vibrators with a fantasy design. They are called Medusa, Knight, and Minotaur and each features a smooth body and adjustable multispeed vibrations.
“The RPG inspired designs of The Realm toys are so dramatic and will catch anyone’s attention in a store,” said Tonga. “They have striking designs, very different from the usual, and are especially popular with lovers of fantasy roleplaying.”
