The Hex factor: Lelo to move into condoms

Lelo has announced that it will be launching a condom later this summer. Not just any old condom though, the Lelo Hex is said to be the world’s first ‘re-engineered’ condom. The company says its R&D departments have been working on ‘optimising an unprecedented condom design’ since 2009, and production is currently being ramped up to meet expected demand, now the product has received all  relevant certifications for sale globally.

Steve Thomson, Lelo’s chief marketing officer, said: “Lelo pleasure products are famous for helping millions enjoy healthier, more vibrant sex lives. Now we’re taking another step forward in launching the world’s first re-engineered condom. This landmark design looks set to become the most important innovation in the category for more than 70 years. We’re thrilled to bring it to market.”

Further details are being withheld at this time, but users can sign up to www.lelocondoms.com to receive regular updates on the product, offers, and early access to giveaways. The website states: “For too long, the condom industry has failed to innovate – the world has changed but the condom stayed the same. It’s time to leave it behind and try something new, something better, something that is going to change the way the world looks at great safe sex.”
