The eLine award winners

European trade magazine Medien eLine held its awards bash in the Festival Centre of the Estrel Hotel in Berlin during the Venus show, recognising people, companies and products in 76 categories.

The winners included UK retail chain Nice ‘n’ Naughty (Best Retail Chain); BMC Intimate (Best Wholesaler); SexerciseMe (Product of the Year); Daring (Best Label); LoadXXX (Best International Gay Film for UK Council Lads); Orion (Best B2B Shop, Best Overall Collection and Best Marketing Team); Joydivision (Best Consumable); Vivid’s Cry Wolf (Best US Film); Evolved Novelties (Best Toy Collection); Standard Innovation Corporation’s We-Vibe (Most Innovative Product) and UK-based filmmaker Petra Joy received a special Jury award for Pioneering Achievements in Female Focused Porn.

The Digital Playground team picked up four awards (director Robby D for Best International Direction, Jesse Jane for Best US Actress, Stoya for Best US Newcomer and Pirates II for Film With The Highest Potential); Wicked’s Jessica Drake was recognised for Outstanding Achievements and the same company’s Randy Spears was chosen as Best International Actor; Marc Dorcel picked up six (Best European Movie, Best Big Budget Movie, Best Director – all for Casino No Limit – while Yasmine got Best European Actress, Herve Bodilis got Best European Director and Marc Dorcel himself for Outstanding Achievements); Hustler got three (Best Marketing Co-operation, Theresa Flynt for Business Woman of the Year, and Barely Legal was chosen as Best US Series); Tera Patrick’s Mistress Couture range was named Best Lingerie Label; Playhouse’s picked up Most Innovative Range of Products and the company’s Bert Ruzette and Walter Krose also won Best Sales Management for Film; Shots Media’s Oscar Heijnen picked up Best Sales Management for Toys & Consumables; Scala received awards for Company of the Year for Toys & Consumables and Best Toy Label for ToyJoy while Gerard Cok of Beate Uhse was awarded the Outstanding Services to the Industry trophy.
