Tenga and Ray Chu spill the T at LFW

Following their 2023 collaboration, Tenga is once again teaming up with designer Ray Chu for a new collection at London Fashion Week, which will debut on 20 September at the Bishopsgate Institute.

The 2023 collab combined fashion and pleasure culture, asking how pleasure brands can exist as part of modern culture – not hidden, but celebrated. This year, the narrative is even stronger: pleasure is not taboo, it’s a fundamental part of modern lifestyle and design.

The collection promises designs inspired by Tenga products, blended with Ray Chu’s signature bold, sleek and intimate aesthetic. There’ll also be an after-party following the show at The Shoreditch Bar and featuring a specially-created cocktail, “Spill the T”.

Ray Chu said: “This season, we introduce the slogan ‘Spill the T’ as the core of our collaboration. The phrase carries a playful double meaning: ‘T’ as truth, story, and ‘tea’, while also referencing our collaborator, Tenga. The phrase ‘spill the T’ has deep roots in drag culture and LGBTQ+ communities dating back to the early 1990s, where ‘T’ stood for truth. This resonates strongly with our philosophy: celebrating authenticity, telling our stories unapologetically, and embracing who we truly are. Through this collaboration, we continue to merge culture, fashion, and inclusivity into vibrant, accessible designs.”

Tenga president Koichi Matsumoto said: “Since its founding 20 years ago, Tenga has pursued the mission of ‘bringing sexuality to the forefront of society and making it enjoyable for everyone’, aiming to enrich people’s sexual lives and, in turn, their overall happiness through our products. We are truly honoured to once again collaborate with Ray Chu following our first partnership in 2023. Tenga products are valued not only for their functionality but also for their unique designs and shapes. With this new collection, we anticipate that its aesthetic beauty will be expressed through fashion, conveying a new passion.”
