Adult broadcaster Television X has joined YouView’s On Demand section, becoming the first adult app to appear on the platform. The service, called TVXflix, launched on 28th June and it offers viewers HD adult movies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Customers will be able to browse the entire Television X library free of charge and filter their search by ‘what’s hot’, most recent, category or performer. A 48 hour rental of each film costs £4.99 or an unlimited subscription can be obtained for £9.99 each month. Subscribers also get free online access to the entire Television X catalogue via their PC, Mac, tablet or smartphone.
The company states that, as part of a larger campaign set up by TVXflix to ensure child protection from inappropriate content, TVXFlix is the first adult application in the UK to fully age verify all customers before they can view any content to ensure that they are over 18.
