The organisers of eroFame have announced that “roughly 2,100” trade and retail visitors attended the 2013 event, which took place in Hanover, Germany, from October 9th to 11th. The total number of exhibitors at the trade show was 191. One of the highlights was the new We-Vibe 4 [pictured, with the company’s Shelley Hutchinson] while those looking for more unusual offerings discovered giant ‘memory foam’ dildos, vibes adorned with crushed duck eggs and a vibe with a light and camera in its head which connects to a laptop and provides an ‘inside view’ of proceedings.
Commenting on the release of this year’s stats, Wieland Hofmeister, managing director of Mediatainment Publishing eroFame GmbH, said: “We can definitely be happy with this result. In our conversations, the exhibitors praised the great quality of the trade visitors, and almost all the companies who partook at eroFame 2013 have already announced that they will be back in 2014. This kind of feedback speaks for itself! And we mustn’t forget the fact that the number of exhibitors and the size of the exhibition floor have continuously grown over the course of the years, while the number of visitors always remained on the same level, despite various developments in the market. So the visitors are spread over a much bigger space now.”
He added: “There is no doubt that a visit to eroFame 2013 paid off for the trade members in spades. We are already making plans for next year, trying to further optimise the event and to keep pace with the requirements.”
