Sportsheets making a splash in the media

Although we’re still only half-way through the year, 2019 is proving to be fruitful for Sportsheets when it comes to mainstream media exposure. Its products were featured in viral videos on New York Magazine’s YouTube channel, paid premium services like Netflix and HBO, and the company was also recently featured in Cosmopolitan magazine.

Sportsheets marketing director John Turi said: “As sexual wellness becomes more accepted and promoted we have been noticing a trend of our products popping up in the media more, and more.”

Sportsheets’ Kegel Exercise System appeared in the 3 New Sex Things You Should Try This Month article in the June 2019 issue of Cosmopolitan and over the past few months the company has had five of its bondage items featured in different mainstream outlets.

“New York Magazine launched a new YouTube show, Sex Probz on YouTube, and on the episode ‘I’m Kinky and Broke. Where do I start?’ their sex educators introduced our flagship product and namesake, The Sportsheet,” said Turi. “On HBO, Margret Cho was spotted wearing the Sportcuffs and was also featured being tied down in the Under the Bed Restraint System in an episode of High Maintenance.”

Sportsheets also reported that its Slut Impression Paddle was on the recently released Netflix show, Bonding, and its Heart Beat crop appeared in an episode of reality TV show Little Women LA: Couples Retreat.

Sportsheet president Julie Stewart [pictured] said: “We love seeing our products getting highlighted while we are watching or reading our favourite entertainment mediums. We can’t wait to see what the next find will be.”
