ETO will be a media partner for Sx Tech 2020, which takes place in Berlin on 20th November and if you’re thinking of attending the event the organisers are currently running special offers for both visitors and potential exhibitors – but only for a limited time.
Billed as the world’s first comprehensive sex technology conference, the inaugural event was held in the same city in 2019, and the organisers have ambitious plans for its successor: the space allocated to exhibitors has doubled and instead of a single stage, this year there will be two.
“One will have a deeper focus on innovation in tech and marketing, and the second one will be dedicated to sales, cyber solutions, data protection, media, and new products of the sex tech industry,” said Sx Tech CEO Ola Miedzynska [pictured]. “We have also doubled the number of speakers, to around 50, and there will be 5+ masterclasses for professionals.”

Sx Tech will be the only adult-focused event taking place in Europe this year – after moving from its original slot in September – so we asked Ola if she was expecting a larger number of attendees. She replied: “We took the risk to run the event this year. But such serious decisions must always be consulted with the entire ecosystem. We worked very carefully on the security system and regulations that are required by the local authorities in Berlin. Considering all that, we are expecting a maximum of 1,000 people at Sx Tech 2020. Of course, the situation we’re all in is extremely difficult but we have been working hard to provide safety and comfort for our partners and visitors. It also brings new solutions and ideas to the table and we are extremely excited to meet our community again this year.”
Ola went on to emphasise the importance of face-to-face time: “After so many months of isolation and difficult times I, and the rest of our community, can’t wait for the real conference experience. I can’t wait to see in real life all those experts and colleagues that I spent months communicating with on Zoom. While Zoom is great, it’s not a place to create a real business relationship.”
