Sexpo UK rescheduled for October

Organisers of adult lifestyle exhibition Sexpo UK have announced that the event has been rescheduled for October 25th– 27th this year instead of its previously advertised dates of July 12th-14th.

All pre-purchased tickets will be valid for the new dates and visitors will also enjoy free of charge upgrades to the next entry tier: anyone with a platinum pass can either be upgraded to a multi-pass or receive a £50 credit voucher to spend at the show, for instance. Visitors with pre-purchased tickets who cannot attend in October will be able to claim a refund.

ETO understands that licensing issues with the local council – caused by the organisers being non-UK residents – were a contributing factor behind the decision to postpone the event, as was the previously advertised dates clashing with other international events.

“We have now locked away the new dates, and licensing criteria have been met,” the organisers said in the announcement confirming the new dates. “We are now fully focused on the planning and production of this spectacular event. We also thank our fantastic exhibitors, talent and staff for their understanding.”

Founded in 1995, Sexpo has been staged over 80 times, mainly in Australia but also in several other international markets. The Sexpo UK event was staged in London in 2015 by Carnal Creative under licence. Sexpo founder David Ross subsequently took over responsibility for the running of UK Sexpo events.

Sexpo UK will take place at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham, from October 25th – 27th. For more information visit www.sexpo.co.uk
