Following the success of last year’s ETO Christmas Drinks event in Covent Garden, a larger venue was needed and the first floor of The Carpenters Arms off Tottenham Court Road in London was secured for 2014’s bash. Starting at 4pm on Thursday, December the 4th, in a flurry of (artificial) snow, the party was hosted by ETO’s Lee Schofield, Jacinta Williams, Tom Stock and roving reporter Paul Smith.
Guests in attendance included Mr ETO Show, Jonathan Kirk, the ‘face’ of Adult PR, Nina Saini, Darker Enterprises’ Mike Wallace, Harmony’s Jamie O’Sullivan, Andy Smith from Cyrex/ElectraStim, Chris Ratcliff and Anna Kieran of TVX, Adele Powell of Planet Earth Wholesale, William Garland of Doxy Massager, Jane and Richie Bowles of Creative Conceptions, Sophia Rosina, Rachel McCoy, Ruby Kiddell of Eroticon, XTrader’s Paul Waudby, Kerri Middleton and Kate Egan from ABS Holdings, the guys from Millivres and many, many others.
After the champagne reception and buffet (melt-in-the-mouth sausage rolls were a particular hit) drinks and chat continued until the venue called time on the night at 11pm.
“With a handy roof terrace for the smokers and efficient bar staff, the pub proved a popular party location,” said an ETO spokesperson. “Our thanks to everyone who attended – it looks like the UK industry social calendar has gained another addition.”
