Satisfyer/Womanizer cross-licence patent discussions break down

Satisfyer has reported that following several meetings between the managing directors of the two companies, discussions with Womanizer over the possibility of a cross-licence patent have now broken down.

Cross-licensing is an agreement between two parties which grants mutual permission to use the patents of the other party, and Satisfyer spokesperson Jasmin Wagner said the principal sticking point to securing an agreement was the length of time period being discussed. “In the end, the main point of issue was in regard to the five years or longer term,” she said. “The confidence got lost.”

Both Satisfyer and Womanizer – now part of the Wow Tech Group – have experienced huge success over the last four years with a series of pleasure products that use the application of air pressure to stimulate the clitoris.
