Satisfyer to launch We-Vibe competitor

Satisfyer, the company behind the Satisfyer Pro 2 touch-free clitoral stimulator, has announced that it will be introducing a couples’ toy later this year. And not just any old couples’ toy – a competitor to We-Vibe. Satisfyer states the new product has taken 18 months of development and global patent research, and the next milestone in Satisfyer’s history is earmarked for an autumn release.

The company’s Sebastian Jonas, who is responsible for the product development department of the new partner toy range, said: “With the Satisfyer Pro 2, we have already shown that we can develop innovative technology at the best price and with very high margins for specialist retailers and we will be offering a direct competitor product to the We-Vibe as the next step in autumn. Instead of taking the failed path of sued imitators and counterfeiters, we have invested a seven-digit figure in research and development and have developed a new technology with design. For this, we have established another brand.”

Jonas added that the company’s lawyers are still negotiating with the patent authorities in Canada and Australia but that the situation has been fully clarified in the USA, Europe, China, South America, Japan and Russia, and all the necessary patents have been granted or submitted. The new product will therefore be launched in all markets apart from Australia and Canada, and existing Satisfyer distributors will be given priority when it comes to allocating stock.

“We-Vibe created a new product category and we are very grateful for Standard Innovation,” said Satisfyer’s vice president of sales Jerome Bensimon. “But now the time has come to expand this product category in a legal way with new innovations.”
