Satisfyer and Dutch police take down major counterfeit network

In conjunction with Dutch law authorities, Satisfyer has taken action to dismantle a counterfeit operation that was selling fake versions of its products, including the Pro 2 and Penguin models, online.

Authorities in Groningen uncovered a substantial number of counterfeit products during the operation and a suspect, with alleged ties to organised crime, was arrested.

The action followed an urgent court ruling and is part of Satisfyer’s global anti-counterfeiting strategy aimed at safeguarding its brand and protecting consumers. Satisfyer says this operation underscores its commitment to its customers and its dedication to maintaining its reputation as the global leader in sexual wellness. It adds that counterfeit products not only undermine the brand’s integrity but also pose serious risks to consumer safety due to unregulated manufacturing standards.

“Satisfyer is relentless in its pursuit of counterfeiters,” said Sven Pelka, Managing Director of Triple A/EIS/Satisfyer. “The integrity of our brand and the safety of our customers are non-negotiable. We take these matters very seriously and will continue to collaborate with law enforcement globally to ensure our products remain trustworthy and safe.”

Satisfyer urges consumers to purchase only from authorised retailers to ensure product authenticity and safety. The brand also calls on partners, marketplaces, and retailers to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to help combat counterfeiting at all levels.
