Chris Bakker of Eropartner Distribution has been named the winner of a Lovehoney competition to find the industry’s most authentic looking rock god. It was held on Lovehoney’s stand at July’s ANME Show in Burbank, California, and visitors were invited to pose with a life-size image of Motörhead front man Lemmy Kilmister as well as rock out with the officially branded guitar.

The competition was staged to promote Lovehoney’s Official Motörhead Pleasure Collection: two bullets and two classic torpedo shaped vibes which are decorated with the band’s iconic logo and branding. The recently launched Fifty Shades of Grey Playroom Kits were also showcased on the stand.

Lovehoney’s commercial director Ray Hayes said: “Thanks to everyone who came to the booth and channelled their inner rock gods and goddesses with us. We had a fantastic show and were so thrilled to be able to share the Motörhead Collection and Fifty Shades of Grey Playroom Kits with customers old and new.”

Lovehoney says its teame were rushed off their feet talking to prospective distributors and retailers about the two exciting new ranges as well as the company’s other core brands, and feedback was extremely positive. The firm also picked up Foreign Manufacturer of the Year in the 9th Annual StorErotica Awards, which were held during show.

Hayes said: “What a way to end the show. We’re delighted to have won such a prestigious award. As a UK-based company, it’s a massive boost to be recognised as an international player in the US.”
