The 2024 edition of annual trade show Asia Adult Expo (AAE) was the biggest yet and the most well attended. Over its three-day duration, more than 4,500 visitors from over 60 countries attended the event, where 300+ exhibitors – including brands from France, Japan, Malaysia, Spain, Thailand and Turkey – packed the 13,000sqm of exhibition space.
Staged at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 27th – 29th August 2024, the event kicked off with an opening reception and awards ceremony.
“The award-winning exhibitors took the stage to receive their awards and deliver speeches,” said an AAE spokesperson. “They were excited and hoped that the adult industry in various places could reach a higher level. Each award is a recognition of enterprises in the industry, [and] it is hoped that exhibitors will continue to bring new impacts to the industry and enhance their brand image.”
AAE also hosted a series of seminars, in which speakers from Hong Kong, Russia, Thailand, the United States, and Portugal covered industry trends, marketing strategies and regulations, and sexual health-related topics. Translators were provided to ensure visitors could understand the presentations and ask questions.
Another highlight of the event was the networking party in Hall 5E. With fine wines provided, the organisers say the venue was packed with exhibitors and buyers.
