Ready for liftoff

Arcwave, part of the Lovehoney Group, has unveiled two new products, Arcwave Orbit and Arcwave Thruster.

According to the company, both devices were developed to deliver new forms of sensation through synchronised movement and intelligent stimulation, rather than replicating traditional experiences. “Male pleasure products have historically focused on replication,” said Fin Lasse, Product Manager at Arcwave. “With Orbit and Thruster, we wanted to move beyond imitation and engineer experiences that simply aren’t possible manually or through conventional stimulation. These products are about discovering new sensations altogether.”

The launches come as consumer interest in male sexual wellness continues to grow. Arcwave cited findings from a 2026 study showing that while 64% of men masturbate at least once a week, 64% don’t own sex toys and 55% never use them during masturbation, showing substantial potential within the category.

Orbit features rotational motion technology and pressure-sensitive controls, while Thruster combines thrusting and rotational movement with app-enabled functionality. Both devices integrate with the KooSync app, allowing users to personalise settings, connect remotely with partners and synchronise experiences with digital content.

“Thruster creates a type of stimulation experience that doesn’t exist in traditional male toys,” added Lasse. “The synchronised motion creates a completely new sensory dynamic, something users explore rather than simply recognise.”
