London-based lingerie brand Playful Promises has collaborated with Charli Howard for a new collection of designs which have a commitment to sustainability. Charli Howard is an author, body positivity activist, model, and entrepreneur as the co-founder of Squish Beauty; a vegan skincare brand known for its bright colours, fun shapes, and eco-friendly vibe. As a brand, Squish believes that young people should see real, honest skin, so it chooses not to retouch any models’ bodies in its campaigns.
Playful Promises says it shares her commitment to sustainability, so it was keen to collaborate with Charli. Launched on 26th October, with prices ranging from £18-£35, the Squish x Playful Promises lingerie collection is available in sizes 32 – 38 A/B – G and UK 8 – 20 and includes a selection of balconette bras, briefs, thongs and suspenders in an array of colourways. Every piece features Squish Beauty’s trademark cherry and heart icons in the lingerie’s lace detailing. The campaign was shot by iconic photographer and founder of Girls.Girls.Girls. Magazine, Claire Rothstein, who is known for her strong female focus.
And as part of both Charli and Playful Promises’ commitment to sustainability, every piece in this collection is made from recycled polyester, nylon, lace and organic cotton.
