Playboy, one of the highest profile adult brands, is moving into condoms and is seeking UK retailers and distributors. The products will be supplied pre-merchandised in retail-ready shelf display trays of 6 x 3 packs and 5 x 12 packs.
Three variants will be available at launch – Ultra Safe, Ultra Thin and Strawberry – and the condoms are said to be CE-marked and ISO4074 compliant and manufactured by one of the world’s largest producers.
The launch of Playboy Condoms will be backed by a full national media and PR campaign featuring ‘money can’t buy’ prizes, giving consumers the chance to live the Playboy lifestyle, if only for a little while. A portion of the brand’s proceeds will go to support Think Before You Act, a non-profit organisation dedicated to creating awareness of issues like HIV/AIDS, over population and teen pregnancy.
