Pjur receives Vegan Society accreditation

Pjur has announced that its Pjur Med Vegan Glide is now registered with the Vegan Society, the British organisation which has been advocating veganism since the 1940s. The Vegan Society’s goal is for a world where humans do not exploit animals and it promotes a lifestyle that excludes, as far as possible and practical, all forms of exploitation of – and cruelty to – animals for the purposes of food, clothing or anything else. The society says its international Vegan Trademark is the leading symbol of vegan-friendly products and services, with over 18,000 registered so far, more than any other vegan certification body.

“Nowadays, consumers increasingly value quality products that are highly compatible and at the same time sustainable,” said Pjur. “The vegan target market is also steadily increasing in size. Our Pjur Med Vegan Glide bears the internationally registered, globally recognised Vegan Trademark of the Vegan Society, which shows consumers that these products do not involve or contain animal-derived ingredients and have not involved animal testing.”
