Pipedream Products’ Ultimate Fantasy Kitty Doll features in Universal’s Good Boys, the new comedy from producer Seth Rogan. Released in cinemas in August, it has a Rotten Tomatoes approval rating of 79% at the time of writing, from 200 reviews. The movie stars Jacob Tremblay, Keith Williams, and Brady Noon as three sixth-graders who become involved in a series of misadventures as they try to attend a party hosted by their popular classmates, and when they encounter Kitty they believe her to be a dummy used for CPR training.
Pipedream says the exposure the doll has gained from the mainstream movie is resulting in increased demand from adult stores. In an interview with film news site AnyGoodFilms.com, Good Boys prop master J Drover joked about Kitty’s lifelike features – including her surprisingly sturdy weight – and what it was like to work with this life-size love doll: “We had an endorsement from Pipedream, which is one of the biggest adult-toy designers and manufacturers,” Drover said. “They signed on early to help us out and they were very flexible.
