Pipedream launches $10k retail display contest

Pipedream Products is giving away $10,000 in cash and prizes to bricks and mortar retailers. The in-store display competition is open to all Pipedream stockists worldwide and is based around the firm’s Fetish Fantasy Elite Plan-O-Gram. It runs until 31st March 2012.
“The objective is for retailers to design the most creative and outstanding Fetish Fantasy Elite retail display in their store,” said Briana Honz, visual merchandiser of Pipedream Products. “Think of it as Project Runway, but with Universal Harnesses, Silicone Dildos, Silicone Rope and Silicone Ball Gags.”
Stores must register in order to participate. Pipedream will provide complimentary signage and a photo of a basic plan-o-gram as a starting point. Retailers will then have to get creative and set up the best-looking and most effective in-store Fetish Fantasy Elite display.
“With this contest, we are encouraging retailers to create more than a mere Plan-O-Gram in their stores,” said Nick Orlandino, CEO of Pipedream Products. “You’re creating a destination centre for the Fetish Fantasy Elite programme. Your finished display should be powerful enough to draw customers over so they will want to spend a few minutes exploring the brand.”
Stores are welcomed and encouraged to use other props including beds, mannequins, or anything they can think of to create the most powerful display. Once retailers enter the contest, by filling out the online form on PipedreamProducts.com, a Pipedream representative will contact that store to arrange shipment of the complimentary signage.
Once entered, all participants will have until 31st March to build displays, photograph and submit at least five and up to 10 pictures to Pipedream via firstname.lastname@example.org
