Ofcom hits Youngtek with £600K in Online Safety Act fines

UK media regulator Ofcom has issued fines totalling £600,000 (over $800,000) to adult site operator Youngtek Solutions for non-compliance with age verification requirements under the Online Safety Act (OSA).

According to Ofcom, the enforcement action follows findings that between 25 July and 22 September 2025, Youngtek failed to implement required age assurance measures and didn’t adequately respond to legally binding information requests.

The investigation, launched in September 2025, covered several Youngtek-operated platforms, including empflix.com, imagefap.com, moviefap.com and TNAflix.com. A provisional decision was issued in February before the regulator confirmed its final ruling this week.

Youngtek has been fined £500,000 for failing to implement age checks and a further £100,000 for non-compliance with information requests. The regulator also confirmed that age assurance measures have since been implemented across the affected sites.

Ofcom stated it’ll continue to monitor compliance to ensure “highly effective” age verification systems remain in place to prevent underage access to pornographic content.
