The death of EP Products founder Don Wilson has been announced by the Canadian company. In an email to customers and business associates on 29 March, the EP team said: “Dear industry friends, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Don Wilson on March 29, 2025.”
The email continued: “Don was not just a leader in our industry; he was a mentor, a friend, and an inspiration to all who had the privilege of working with him… For over 25 years, Don dedicated himself tirelessly to the industry, and his legacy of hard work, integrity, and kindness has left an indelible mark on all of us. His influence will be felt for years to come, and he will be greatly missed.”
Wilson started EP Products in 2013 as a reaction to the emergence of e-commerce sites such as Amazon. At the time, he had been selling adult videos to retailers but then took over a relative’s warehouse space and added toys to his offering. Today, British Columbia-based EP products has more than 3,000 lines.
Wilson sold EP products after the Covid-19 pandemic but continued to serve as the company’s director of sales.
Wilson’s life will be celebrated at The Junction in Vancouver, BC on 15 April.
