NS Novelties is continuing its trend for non-threatening and ‘cute’ adult toys, with the introduction of a new line of mini vibrators called Emoticons on April 9th.
The vibes take their name from the term for the simple character faces used during online conversation as they feature such a face in their design. The one-touch mini bullets light up to reveal a ‘smiley’, which blinks to a sequence that corresponds with the selected intensity level. There are seven functions to choose from and the line will be available in a choice of four loosely feminine colours – seafoam green, blue, purple and pink. The ‘head’ of the toys can rest in a cap to reveal nubbed feet that can be used for additional stimulation. The Emoticon vibes are made from body-safe TPE and are waterproof.
NS Novelties has developed a reputation for its funny faces since the introduction of the Muse back in 2012, which gained interest in the mainstream media, including recognition in Buzzfeed’s list of ‘17 Most Twee Novelty Products of All Time’ for its “adorable” factor.
“The cute factor of the Emoticons should not fool people,” said Leslie Shwartzer of NS Novelties. “They house a vibration as powerful as many larger toys and their compact size makes them a great travel companion.”
Retailers will find the colourful 16-piece display, inclusive of two free testers, a convenient conversation piece, where customers can actually test out the strength and softness of the product before buying.
