Adult novelties retailer Nice ‘n’ Naughty have teamed up with Erotica UK in a cross promotion effort that markets Nice ‘n’ Naughty fetishwear and sexy clothing as suitable outfits for the Erotica Winter Ball. The Ball, which will take place at Club Colosseum in London on Saturday 24th November, carries a strict adult-themed dress code. Feedback, according to Erotica’s customer service representatives, has indicated that the dress code has proven confusing and a little daunting for first-timers.

At Erotica’s request, Nice ‘n’ Naughty have put together a section of clothing and accessory items that are for sale on their website as suggested erotic ball attire as something of a guide.

“We are very happy to be working with Erotica UK to promote their Erotica Winter Ball this year,” said Stacey Checkley, Nice ‘n’ Naughty’s online marketing executive. “It is an excellent opportunity for us all to reach out to more people in the fetish community and bring them together for one hell of a night. Since our re-designed www.nicennaughty.co.uk was launched in October, it’s become even easier to work with other companies for events such as these and we look forward to many future collaborations.

The joint effort, which features content and homepage banners on each website, is expected to be the first of numerous efforts by Erotica UK to expand its online presence through affiliate advertorial campaigns. The company behind the world’s largest adult consumer lifestyle exhibition relaunched its website in September this year in the first stage of redevelopment as a community hub and news resource. To date, the website has attracted an interesting line up of dedicated resident bloggers covering various adult-interest topics including erotic performance, comedy, BDSM, writing erotica and choosing the right sex toys.

“Participation on the new website so far has been tremendous,” said Lisa Gilbride, Content Manager at Erotica UK. “We’re working hard to establish this website as a lifestyle resource and a vital part of that is in keeping our content offering inclusive so that our visitors will identify us as the place to find out about the characters and companies that matter.”

The promotional effort follows an open invitation issued by Erotica through their Twitter profile on October 26th to companies wishing to discuss PR and advertising prospects, which read, “Erotica are seeking partners for a traffic exchange in advance of our Winter Ball. Pls retweet”.
