Mister B has a new owner and CEO. The fetish specialists from Holland, voted Best Fetish Products Distributor and Best Specialist Products Distributor by ETO readers earlier this summer, has been the subject of a management buyout (MBO) by Nelson Sousa da Cunha, Mister B marketing manager. Former owner Wim Bos will remain involved with Mister B in an advisory role.
Wim founded the company 23 years ago and its activities now include wholesale and internet sales, stores and franchises in Holland, Belgium and Germany, and various points of sale in countries all over Europe and beyond. It employs over 40 staff.
Nelson Sousa da Cunha joined Mister B in 2011 and prior to this he held several management positions in a variety of commercial organisations. In addition to his role at Mister B, Nelson has been very active within the gay scene for many years, and a strong advocate for gay and fetish acceptance and emancipation. Commenting on the new challenge, he said: “My extremely motivated team and I are very much looking forward to further expand the success of Mister B and make the organisation even more future-proof.”
