Net 1on1 has reported that sales of its Loving Joy range hit record numbers in the first quarter of 2017. The distributor announced that it was ‘going back to basics’ earlier this year by building a catalogue of affordable essential toys. The Loving Joy brand includes a range of realistic dildos, classic rabbit vibrators, and silicone pleasure products, which Net 1on1 says covers all the must-haves on a retailer’s list while also offering an inexpensive and beginner-friendly introduction to sex toys for consumers.
With the success of the distributor’s recently launched fetish sub-brands, Impound, Bound and Precious Metals, Net 1on1 states that it has also proved that ‘basics’ doesn’t necessarily have to mean vanilla.
Net 1on1 MD Tony Gonzalez said: “We are thrilled to notice such a growth in sales of our own brand, especially since Loving Joy was established in 2009 – eight years and still going so strong! Probably our Real Feel range has seen the biggest jump in average sales compared to last year – over 70% increase in just the first quarter – but the Jessica Rabbits, the amazing Loving Joy Power Bullets and our silicone product range have all performed outstandingly in the first four months of the year.”
Gonzalez continued: “While we are always on the lookout for new innovation in the industry, we didn’t want to forget about the ‘bread-and-butter’ products that consumers are always seeking and buying.
