MysteryVibe accepting pre-orders for ‘world first' labia and vulva vibe

MysteryVibe has announced it is taking pre-orders for its next release, the Legato, which will be available from March 2023. Legato is a circular, flexible device that is said to be the world’s first full labia and vulva vibrator to provide arousal through external stimulation alone.

The company says that nine out of 10 women need external stimulation to get aroused, and without it, intercourse and intimacy can be painful or even impossible, and while there are products in the market that provide external stimulation, they focus exclusively on the clitoris.

“What makes Legato vibrator so revolutionary is its innovative flexible design,” the company said. “Legato can be bent in both directions and adapt to different labia shapes. This allows it to provide a complete external stimulation to the oft-ignored erogenous areas of labia and vulva.”

Legato can be bent and stretched to accommodate different vulva shapes and anatomies, and hinge lock engineering allows Legato to maintain the rigidity of that shape under pressure. It also provides 360° external stimulation through its four motors. “Legato delivers distributed vibrations of precise frequencies all along the labia, clitoris, and vulva,” the company said. “This increases sensations, blood flow, and lubrication in a non-invasive manner. This is particularly helpful for those who contend with painful sex, vaginismus, arousal disorder, or prefer an alternative to internal stimulation.”

Each of the motors can be individually customised to fit the user’s preference through 16 intensity levels, eight pre-set vibration patterns, and the ability to create and save custom vibration patterns with the accompanying app. Legato’s Bluetooth functionality also allows users to involve a partner from up to 30 feet (via the app) or 10 feet away with the MysteryVibe remote.

“Legato was designed for her with couple’s intimacy in mind,” the company continued. “The centre of the device is designed to be very wide so it can accommodate all penis sizes. This allows for penetrative sex while using the device, so the user can continue to get full external stimulation during intercourse.”

The shape of the device was a result of working with leading urologists, ob-gyns and menopause specialists, in order to help combat arousal disorder, which can include vaginal dryness, sensitivity, lack of lubrication, and pain during penetration.

“Our goal in creating Legato was to offer a truly personalisable solution for external stimulation, a key in getting aroused, and at the same time improve intercourse, especially for couples struggling with dryness issues,” said MysteryVibe co-founder and CEO Dr Soum Rakshit. “This is part of our wider mission to make sexual health solutions accessible to everyone, especially as we age and need more solutions to keep the intimacy in the bedroom.”
