Lovehoney has announced that it will be the only UK retailer selling Lelo’s new Tara for the whole of 2013. Tara has been touted as ‘the next big thing’ in couples’ toys – sporting a rotating shaft which is said to mimic a come-hither finger motion, in addition to a multi-function vibrating external pad – and it can be worn during penetrative sex or used as a standalone solo toy.
“The Lelo Tara is the ideal gift for couples who want to try something new in the bedroom,” said Lovehoney co-director Richard Longhurst. “It offers the latest in sex toy technology and pleasure for both partners for less than £100.”
The exclusive deal with Lovehoney will no doubt disappoint many of Lelo’s other retailers, who will have to wait until 2014 before they are given the opportunity to sell Tara, but the company’s other new product, Ida, is available to all.
