Lovehoney Group and SVAKOM have announced a licensing partnership centred on their respective technologies, Pleasure Air and KooSync.
Under the agreement, SVAKOM will integrate Pleasure Air Technology into a range of suction-based stimulators, while Lovehoney Group will bring KooSync to its Arcwave brand.
For Lovehoney Group, the deal represents an opportunity to share its intellectual property while continuing to expand its connected-product ecosystem. CEO Johannes von Plettenberg said the company is “delighted that SVAKOM values our innovations”, adding that they’re looking forward to a “constructive cooperation that promotes creativity and growth across the sexual wellness industry.”
He also highlighted the potential of bringing KooSync into the Arcwave ecosystem, saying the platform will “support our connected-product ecosystem” and help deliver “enhanced digital experiences for our customers.”
SVAKOM CEO David Yu similarly emphasised the importance of innovation and responsible use of intellectual property, saying the company is “dedicated to advancing innovation and ensuring fair competition.” He added that SVAKOM welcomed the opportunity “to bring exciting new products to consumers while fully respecting the intellectual property that underpins them.”
The deal will see both companies leverage each other’s technology, with the licensing agreement opening new possibilities across hardware and connected product development.
