OneUp Innovations, manufacturers of Liberator Bedroom Adventure Gear, has launched the first floating headboard designed strictly for bondage play. According to the firm, The Grid “meets consumer interest for covert yet effective bondage gear that easily integrates into a variety of interior spaces” and it was inspired by key retail partners wishing to cater to entry-level bondage enthusiasts.
“We had many customers express interest in us creating transitional bondage-inspired products that would appeal to a variety of enthusiasts,” said Louis Friedman, founder, and CEO of Liberator. “The Grid was developed with the goal of offering a high-quality design that Liberator is known for while staying true to current trends and targeting the less than hardcore bondage consumers.”
The Grid is said to be the only convertible headboard that transforms ordinary bedrooms into an instant sex chamber and is crafted from a series of solid Baltic Birchwood planks that include reinforced D-rings, adjustable tethers and attachment clips. It also comes with a lightweight high-density foam panel, available in a variety of style options such as faux leather or a plush, textured micro-velvet. The upholstered foam panel instantly removes for play restraint or as a sensual massage platform.
“It is not something that has ever been done before,” said Friedman. “We think this will be a home run for us. There has been more excitement, commitments, and activity with The Grid than anything we’ve produced over the past couple of years.”
