LELO has moved into the cosmetics sector with the launch of LELO Makeup, and it believes its promotional campaign for its new lipsticks could be one of the world’s most sexually explicit cosmetics adverts, despite containing no nudity, no physical touch and no dialogue.
Its raunchiness comes from what the model appears to be saying. And although the brand won’t reveal what is being said, preferring to leave it open to the imagination and interpretation of the viewer, LELO did say it’s certainly not PG. You can see the ad here.
The campaign for the two new luxury matte lipsticks, Stylo and Liquid, is called Read My Lips and is said to celebrate the role that lips play in seduction. The two lipsticks come in five shades, with names such as Notorious, One Night Stand, Booty Call, Come on Over, Nymph, and Screwed.
Designed to ‘enhance and unlock the user’s true potential’, the lipsticks are said to be formulated to have a buttery, non-drying result for a rich, deep colour that lasts all day.
