Leg Avenue comes to Scala

Scala Playhouse is adding Leg Avenue to its distribution portfolio. The firm has created a large new installation in the centre of its showroom devoted to the brand. Samples from Leg Avenue’s luxurious European Collection were showcased at last month’s Scala Playhouse Trade Fair, which took place at its Holland HQ.

The Leg Avenue European Collection consists of hosiery, lingerie, burlesque and clubwear. Each part of the collection is said to make its own statement, matching the desires of the modern sexy woman who wants to distinguish herself and be ready to have fun.

The hosiery range consists of a wide variety of different styles from classic panties to more sophisticated garter-belts, stockings and suspenders. Knee-highs and anklets are also available alongside leggings and leg warmers. The lingerie selection contains the latest provocative designs while the burlesque collection is designed for the daring woman who wants to be romantic, stylish and classic, conjuring up images of nostalgia and the French Can-Can period. Clubwear gives the adventurous woman a range of daring outfits for that special night out. Leg Avenue also offers a variety of other costumes that mix fashion with fantasy plus costumes designed for different ‘theme parties’ such as Halloween or Carnival, and many feature complementary accessories. Many Leg Avenue styles are also available in plus size.

Scala UK’s Clive Gore said: “I’m always pleased to see high quality lines like this added to our portfolio. Leg Avenue is very much a luxury label but at a realistic price point for our customers to consider. It has been very warmly received and some visitors were already drawing comparisons with the very highest end of the lingerie market.”

Alongside Leg Avenue, the Scala Playhouse Trade Fair featured Exclusive European previews of the new Leaf range from Swan as well as Lux, a new range of sex toys aimed at the straight male market. The Leg Avenue European Collection will be available from Scala Playhouse from November 2011. Visit www.scalaplayhouse.com for further information.
